Will my natural dark brown eyes show through the black pigment?
Not at all. Our Black Out lenses are manufactured with premium, high-density pigmentation. They offer 100% opacity, meaning they will completely cover any natural eye color—even the darkest brown—without looking grayish or fake under harsh studio lights or camera flashes.
Are 22mm Full Sclera contacts suitable for beginners?
If you are a complete beginner who has never worn contact lenses before, we strongly recommend starting with our 14mm standard blackout lenses to get comfortable with basic insertion and removal. If you already have experience wearing regular cosmetic or clear prescription contacts, 17mm (Mini Sclera) and 20mm (Expanded Sclera) lenses are ideal next steps. Massive 22mm Full Sclera lenses cover the entire visible eye and require a specific "tuck and roll" insertion technique, making them best suited for experienced wearers.
Are 22mm Full Sclera contacts safe and comfortable to wear?
Absolutely. While 22mm lenses cover your entire eye and look intimidating, they are crafted from 38%-42% water content hydrogel. This breathable material prevents dry eyes during long conventions.
